Since when is it the geeks’ responsibility to save the economy? Why isn’t this lady mocking people who “waste all their productive energy” watching sports or engaging in ANY other non-productive hobby? Never mind the vast amounts of money that Comic-Con DOES contribute to the economy. This is just nerd-bashing, plain and simple.

This is consistent with the Amazing Spider-Man Pez dispenser image that leaked earlier this week haha. Interesting choice with the human face, but this will allow Rhys Ifans to deliver an actual performance while villained out. Unlike Raimi’s Spidey where they put Willem Dafoe, an extremely expressive actor, in a big plastic helmet for the majority of the movie.

I’ll say it’s…promising. As long as the CGI holds up during the actual
film and the rest of the movie is as polished as the only TWO
Spider-Man movies out there (heard that third one got canned ;) ), I’ll
be there minute one.

Who am I kidding, I’ll be there minute one no matter what.

Superman all the way. He has withstood and defeated too many super villians who seemed his superior for Sentry to be any greater a challenge. The upper limits of Superman’s strength and power are unknown, as he feels he has to hold back for fear of causing collateral damage. Given the right arena, Supes would up his game and turn Sentry into a used hankie.
