We’ve been keeping tabs on the follow-up to X-Men Origins: Wolverine,  The Wolverine for quite some time now. After the loss of Darren Aronofsky as director, a rewrite of Christopher McQuarrie’s script, and other delays to boot, we finally have a release date.

20th Century Fox announced today that The Wolverine is now set for a July 26, 2013 release.  The Wolverine is being directed by James Mangold (Knight and Day, 3:10 to Yuma) and has Wolverine going to Japan and battling it out with the Silver Samurai.
