If the ‘Point One’ teaser a while back wasn’t indication enough of his eventual return, Marvel’s now made it official: Scarlet Spider is back… or at least he will be when writer Chris Yost and artist Ryan Stegman officially relaunch the character early next year.

Curious what this new incarnation of the character will look like?

With Spider-Island wrapping up shortly and given some of the recent events that have gone down within its pages, it’s not hard to start putting the pieces together on this mystery. The new character will make his first appearance in November’s ‘Point One’ book before launching into his/her own book in January of 2012.
