Three Teasers That Shed Light on Marvel’s 2012

In what seems like a new weekly trend, the Marvel marketing machine has fired out a number of new teasers over the past couple of days for many of their upcoming titles and events over the next little while that will take us into 2012 and beyond. We’ve got em’ all and even some running commentary to go along with it! Click on the images below for the full versions, as always.

As we mentioned a while back, Marvel will be releasing an over-sized book titled ‘Point One’ that will act as a roadmap for all the major events beginning in 2012. It will be released this November and feature stories by Jeph Loeb, Matt Fraction and (according to this teaser) Chris Yost that will be focusing on a character that seems to be taking fashion advice from the Scarlet Spider. Enough with the teasing Marvel. Is he coming back or not?!

Formerly DC exclusive writer Brian Wood has signed on to do a Marvel related project, which we talked a bit about back in August, that seems to be centered around Wolverine. The teaser recently released by Marvel, which you can see below, features the clawed canuck and Quentin Quire who you may know from the recently concluded Schism book. Wood has promised more details at NYCC which takes place from October 13th through the 16th.

Lastly, we have what appears to be the return of the Winter Soldier… or something/someone cut from the same hate-fueled, Russian-made cloth. Am I the only person who thinks it might be a tad early to be digging him or something related to him back up? The event that took his life hasn’t even ended yet and they’re already planning his return? I know what you’re thinking, perhaps I’m (along with many other people out there that I’ve talked to about this particular teaser) jumping the gun a tad but if it isn’t Bucky, who is it? According to the teaser, we’ll have to wait until January to find out.

Any thoughts on these teasers? Let us know in the recently updated comments section. They’re new, fresh and just begging to be clicked on.
