Catering to pretty much every action movie fan everywhere, the Expendables 2 has two new reasons for you to throw money at it – in the form of Jean-Claude Van Damme & Chuck Norris.

Sylvester Stallone, who directed & co-wrote the screenplay of 2010′s Expendables, has told Entertainment Weekly that he and JCVD will be throwing down at some point during the movie. While this may sound as though Van Damme is going to be a villain, his & Norris’ respective roles are being kept under wraps for the time being. Rumor has it that Chuck Norris’ role will be more of a cameo, à la Arnold Schwartzenegger and Bruce Willis in the first film.

While Stallone won’t be writing or directing the Expendables 2, I think it’s safe to say that a film with this much star power (and testosterone) will be sure to entertain.

The Expendables 2 is currently slated for an August 17th 2012 release.
