Square-Enix gave Final Fantasy fans everywhere some good news today at Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference as they announced that in celebration of Final Fantasy X’s tenth anniversary they would release an HD upgrade of the PS2 classic for the PS3 and Vita.

Little else is known of the impending release as the game is still in development, but stay tuned for more news from the Tokyo Game Show, taking place from Sept. 15-18.
