Not that it’s much of a surprise but confirmation from the man himself has Stan Lee set to make his usual movie cameo in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man’ reboot, which is currently filming. Via his Twitter account earlier this evening, Lee mentions that his upcoming appearance will be different that the ones he has previously done in that it’s an action scene:

Avi told me my cameo is all set for Spidey 4, and when he described it, I realized it’s the best, most unusual one yet! (link)

I wish I could tell you what my cameo is, but that would kill the surprise. But I’ll tell you this much—I’m finally in an action scene! (link)

‘Spider-Man 4′ is set to hit theaters July 3rd, 2012.
