Marvel Previews Wolverine… At His Most Violent?!
I really liked No Hero and Black Summer, both of which were written by Warren Ellis and published by Avatar Press, but more importantly I really like Juan Jose Ryp’s amazing artwork which appear in both of those books.
What does this have to do with anything? Well, it just so happens that the upcoming series Wolverine: The Best There Is happens to be drawn by Ryp as well and is being promoted by Marvel as “the most violent Wolverine series ever”.
Pretty bold statement by Marvel but if anyone’s going to do it, it’s Ryp and the writer of the book, Charlie Huston. Preview?
